Moffly Media presented the 3rd annual athome magazine A-List Awards on Thursday, September 13. Fairfield County’s premiere home design competition was held at the beautifully refurbished Stamford Center for the Arts – Palace Theater. An elegant cocktail reception with over 600 attendees was catered by Urban Chic Inc., and was followed by an exciting awards presentation hosted by Eric Cohler of Eric Cohler Design, revealing the first place winners on the Harman Stage. This special evening benefited Habitat for Humanity for the third year in a row.

The event was made possible by title sponsor ABC Worldwide Stone, and presenting sponsors Aitoro, Clarke – The Ultimate Kitchen Resource Center, Hemingway Custom Cabinetry, Lillian August Designs, Tischler und Sohn and White Birch Studio.

Finalists were selected by a panel of distinguished judges which included Gary Brewer, Thom Filicia, Victoria Hagan, Alexa Hampton, Richard Hartlage, Celerie Kemble, Corey Papadopoli, Peter Pennoyer and Stephen Stimson; nearly all were in attendance to share in the excitement.

Winners included; Raymond Forehand Associates (Bedroom Design), Doyle Herman Design Associates (Landscape: both Less than and Greater than 1 acre); Karen Bow Interiors, LLC (Kid’s Bedroom Design), Pimlico Interiors (Entryways), Milbank Builders, LLC (Bath Design); Last Detail Interior Design (Dining Room), Laura Kaehler Architects, LLC ( Historical Home Renovation and Modern Architecture), Amanda Martocchio Architecture + Design, LLC (Kitchen Design), Neil Hauck Architects (Traditional Architecture: Less than 7,000 Square Feet), Hilton-VanderHorn Architects (Traditional Architecture: Greater than 7,000 Square Feet), Amy Aidinis Hirsch, LLC (Pool House Design), Alisberg Parker Architects (Kids’ Space), Sellars Lathrop Architects, LLC (Renovation), and for the first time a tie in the Living Spaces’category, both Rinfret, Ltd. (Cindy Rinfret) and Pimlico Interiors (Melissa Lindsay) accepted awards.

The November/December issue of athome, on newsstands November 1st, will feature a major editorial spread with additional photography of all the winner’s designs as well as event photos. Photos and live event video coverage can also be viewed at athomefc.com
