Thanks to a neutral color palette and superb organization, Jill Kalman’s office is completely zen.

How does this office reflect your personal style?
The neutral walls and furniture topped with fun accents and colors is totally me. Pops of orange and green, like the patterned ottomans, match my logo colors.

What elements help you stay organized?
I have a big library wall with cubbies of fabric samples. My worktable helps too, so I can set up projects and have a comfortable workspace.

How does this space inspire you?
It’s really sunny and bright. I purposely painted it in neutrals because I’m always looking at color and texture for my work. It pops against the plain background.

What’s your favorite thing in here?
I love my color wheel from design school. I framed it and hung it above my desk, where I look at it every day.
