A tray ceiling made from painted flush board creates openness and height in the family room. Walls are Venetian plaster.

Family room

New England Stair Co. custom fabricated metal balusters on stairs off of the kitchen and breakfast room. The handrail is painted wood and treads are crafted from rift white oak.

New England Stone custom fabricated an integrated, wall-hung stone sink in the formal powder room. An antique mirror reflects the view through a geometric window.

Powder room

Architectural elements, like the tray ceiling and built-in makeup area, define the master bedroom. Bungalow lamps atop custom mirrored tables flank the Custom Interior Shop upholstered bed.

An upholstered banquet sits in the study's alcove, framed by shelved built-ins. The black lacquered desk is from Trovare Home in Cos Cob. The unique rain drum is a Bungalow find.


On the patio, a cross-beam trellis provides just enough shade, while the painted brick and stone slab surround fireplace offers enough warmth for near year-round enjoyment.


Off of the pool, a built-in barbeque center is framed by structured plantings designed by Robin Kramer Garden Design.
