Kip's Bay Decorator's Show House

Eighteen of the nation’s top designers created innovative and beautiful rooms as part of the annual event

Do not miss the 2013 Kips Bay Decorator Show House, open until June 4th at the Sharpe Townhouse at 161 East 64th Street in New York City. Eighteen of the nation’s top designers, including Kathryn Ireland, Barbara Ostrom, and Connecticut’s own Christopher Peacock, created innovative and beautiful rooms as part of the annual event.

Since 1973, the event has been hosted by the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, which provides programs to more than 12,000 young people throughout the Bronx who are facing economical, social or recreational disadvantages each year. An estimated 20,000 people are expected to tour the finished Show House, which serves as the non-profit organization’s premier fundraiser.

“We are honored to have such an accomplished team of designers and architects and look forward to seeing how each chooses to transform their assigned room,” said show house chair Bunny Williams. “With this impressive team, we hope to surpass this year’s fund-raising goal for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club which has a tremendous impact on both our region and the nation’s youth.”

General admission tickets are $35 and can be purchased at www.kipsbaydecoratorshowhouse.org.
