Bring the charm of the Glass House to your home

There’s a new reason to check out The Glass House in New Canaan. If you love the style of architect Philip Johnson’s iconic building, you can bring a piece of its history home from the Glass House Design Store. The collection was recently retooled in collaboration with Moss Bureau, an NYC-based design advisory service headed up by Murray Moss and his partner Franklin Getchell. “The pieces look great in any type of home—they are classics. Incorporating them into a more traditional space would be similar to mixing photography and contemporary art in a traditional home,” says Christa Carr, Director of Communications at The Glass House. Every piece in the pared-down collection of books, furniture, objects, and works on paper was chosen to be a functional keepsake for visitors. Could a cheeky letter opener or sleek teapot make daily life a little bit better? We think so. Shop online or visit the store to get your piece of design perfection.
