Named for Safavieh’s flagship store in New York City’s Flatiron district, the eleven-piece 902 Broadway Collection is composed of furniture pieces for the dining room and bedroom. Though its inspiration comes from the glamour of the 1940s and 50s, the pieces have been updated to suit a twenty-first century casual lifestyle. Among the elegant offerings are a bed with a dramatic headboard of cream leather and dark walnut wood, and an oval dining table with a faceted curved base, with two twenty-inch extensions that make accommodating extra dinner guests a snap. Safavieh’s interior designers have a few recommendations for the dining room chairs in the collection as well: They like to use a mix of upholstered and wood-back chairs at the dining room table to create a contemporary, relaxed look, or use them as side chairs anywhere in the house.
