Thursday, February 19 – Monday, May 31, 2015 This exhibition highlights the changing styles of wedding gowns over several centuries, from 18th-century silk and military-inspired Civil War dresses to the ubiquitous white dress of today. By looking at wedding fashion, the exhibition will examine how the idea of “the big day” has developed over time.
